Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport

I don't feel like dancing...

...except I do, and I did - last night at the Scissor Sisters gig in Trafalgar Square.

I must be a very luck girl to see the band twice in 6 days! They were brilliant at Bestival but last night was absolutely totally and utterly amazing. If only for the costumes (at times a little toooo revealing on Jake!) and so much energy!

There are very few bands that have that big danceability factor but the Scissors have got it in buckets.

...I'm still dancing!

The Jaffa Cake thief

Who's eating my Jaffa Cakes? Seriously - it doesn't matter how restrained I've been in not touching the new packet of biscuites (cakes? biscuits? do we care?) it's always open and on the empty side of full. I'm not eating them. Honest.

Frankly worrying.

Bestival 2006

Some people travel to religious sites, some meditate, some employ life coaches... Me? I dress up as a pirate (saturday)/60's rock star (sunday) and get in touch the inner me to the soundtrack of Gogo Bordello.

Let me share what I learnt:
1) I can't name any welsh comediens
2) I never ever think of Spike Milligan
3) I'm a big fan of bear cake!
4) I am particularly prone to accurately assessing risk in a situation, and then doing it anyway
5) I can fry an egg after all

And finally, you know you've had a good weekend when you scratch your head and purple glitter falls out!

Yes, another truly fabulous festival weekend! We all embraced the opportunity to dress up in silly costumes and dance the days away with the usual gusto...and then some.
